What this is
MakanBuddy is a weekly ranking of Malaysian food decided by the people eating it. No critics, no paid placements, no sponsored crowns.
How ranks are set
Every account gets one vote per category per week, and every vote carries a reason: taste, price, cleanliness or convenience. Ballots reset Monday, so a crown has to be defended rather than bought.
Where the plates come from
Nominations. Anyone can put a stall on the ballot, and the ones that earn votes climb the leaderboard for their category.
